Bottling Marlene’s Rhubarb

1.7 kg of Rhubarb chopped into small chunks fitted nicely into 7 no. 28 jars (4 1/2 inch lid, 4 inch rings).
It used 5 cups of liquid (just short of 1 3/4 imperial cups of white sugar made up to 5 litres in two batches).
Aiming for a light-ish syrup (just under a cup of sugar made up to 3 cups with water).
