Church lunch – Feb 2014

Unsure that the salad and fried rice go together, but running with it anyway.

  1. Goi ga – Chicken & Cabbage Salad. 3x quantities. In broiling the chicken, there seems to be the opportunity to make chicken stock to keep at the same time – maybe throw in some vegetables, keep the water to a minimum.
  2. Chinese Fried Rice. 3x quantities. Just planning to use bacon though.

For dinner tonight (Danielle is sailing right now, it will be her after dinner recovery): Asparagus risotto. I threw in some bacon. Everything is better with  bacon.
